Ship Agency

WAYPOINT offers a full range of agency services from cargo operations (loading and discharging), crew change/support, port/boarding formalities, bunkering to husbandry and protective agency services. WAYPOINT agents are backed by extensive agency experience and competence, provide the following services:

• Full Port Agency – managing all port and cargo operations as well as service procurement, reporting and accounting on behalf of ship operators and charterers;
• Cargo Agency – representing the cargo owners’ interests in the port either as the nominated agent or as the shippers/receivers agents for both wet and dry operations. Also involved in generating bill of lading;
• Crew support – arranging transport for crew change, accommodation and facilitating immigration clearances as well as cash to master;
• Protective Agency – representing ship owners’ and operators’ interests in the port operations process when the charterers’ nominated agent has been appointed;
• Husbandry Agency – managing all service requirements for ship and crew, as well as bunker calls and transits; and
• Logistics Services – arranging air freight, warehousing, distribution and customs clearance for ships spares

Chartering

We can provide charter services either voyage or time charter. We can secure the right type of vessel to meet your specific cargo requirements. We match your specifications with those of ship owners/operators, meeting the challenges of moving any type of charter cargo – break bulk, bulk, rolling cargoes, construction materials and  equipment for new construction or developmental projects.

Technical Management

WAYPOINT provides the necessary technical support to facilitate, the maintenance of the vessels by creating maintenance programs and through regular check-up of the vessels. If repair, maintenance and dry-docking are needed, our role in this matter is to conduct a corrective plan which will be passed on to the partner company for approval before further action will be made upon it.

Certification & Compliance

WAYPOINT can provide assistance in processing and renewal of vessel’s trading documents in liaison with the relevant government agencies, ensuring the compliance with the local and international standards relating to safety, environment and health.

We can also provide assistance in formulating Safety Management System and audit plan for required Internal Audit intended for renewal or issuance of Safety Management Certificate and Document of Compliance in accordance with International Safety Management (ISM) Code.
